Every penny of the total sum contributed by members of the public this year will, as usual, be shared between several charities.

The main Charity recipient of this year's campaign will again be the Severn Hospice. Half of the proceeds will go to this wonderful group of people who run the Hospice for our community.

The other half of the proceeds are 'shared' between the local Rotary Clubs, who have nominated their own local charities to benefit from the donations given by the people of the Telford area. The Rotary Clubs are Wellington, Ironbridge, Telford Centre, and The Wrekin.

Their charities which will benefit this year are

Hope House Children’s Hospices - care for terminally ill children
Landau - supported employment
Marie Curie Cancer Care - helping people with terminal illness
Princess Royal Hospital Breast Cancer Support Group - helping people affected
