The 2009 Telford Tree of Light appeal was launched in October with a mailing to 2,500 previous sponsors.

The first names to be remembered for Christmas 2009, and will be available from 20th November following the opening ceremony in Telford Town Centre at 4.30pm (the Salvation Army Band will be playing from 4pm.) and then updated regularly until late December.

On Tuesday 2nd March 2010 at the Buckatree Hotel Wellington there will be a presentation of cheques to Severn Hospice and The Lady Forrester Day Care Centre; Lingen Davies Cancer Relief Fund;Telford & Wrekin Mind; Wellington Cottage Care Centre.
